For quite a long time many, many users have been begging to get Gmail updated. How to Update Gmail
It’s simple to active these new features, just login to your Gmail account and click on Switch to the new look. It can’t get any easier than that. Once you’ve done that you can begin to fully experience Gmails new look and features. The first thing you will want to check out is the update gear icon drop-down. You can switch between the default comfortable as well as cozy and compact display options depending on how much information you want to fit onto your screen. The new look Gmail also will dynamically scale to match your browser window size. Rounding out these core visual features are the new high definition themes also available from the drop box. The final visual Gmail upgrade is the new conversation view. It provides an easy to read layout along with profile pictures and conversation thread style viewing.
Gmail New Features
Beyond the Gmail new look is the improved functionality. The Search function is now much more comprehensive, yet easy to use. Your searches are customized based on the specific item you’re searching for through an easy drop-down. The filter option is intuitively paired with the search function so you can create filters o-the fly. You can also easily switch between Contacts and Tasks from the Mail drop-down. Opening an individual message or conversation thread gives you a new toolbar where can easily archive, mark as spam, delete, assign a label or move to label (essentially folders). Arrow Key functionality has also been built in to this Gmail redesign.
